West Seattle Junction FC has a new assistant coach, the legendary Roman Torres! What an absolute joy to be able to produce the video for their promotional campaign announcing his participation.

Ready to shoot

Spent the first two hours walking through our shotlist and schedule for the day. Here we were prepping the Red Komodo X on a Ronin Gimbal.

Chris was manning the wireless focus setup to my right. Most of my camera build was in studio, so I was able to double check the balance and focus on working with Roman to get the Shot.

The shoot got cut short due to a sneak attack ice storm!

But I had kept an eye on the weather report and planned the shoot accordingly. We got what we needed and made it out of there before any kit got too wet.

Screenshot of my timeline, using Davinci Resolve I was able to edit, color, mix audio and share for review all in one program. This project was an opportunity for me to practice my sound design and with a VO from the voice of the Seattle Sounders, James Woollard! I was grateful for Larson Haakenstad to have us in studio to record.
